Sweetwater Restaurant
A cozy, hip French bistro in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn that’s perfect for a date or a big group meal. I’m excited to go back to try their brunch menu.
There’s an awesome covered patio in the back that’s ideal for a warm summer night. They have some heaters too, but you may not feel the heat depending on where you’re sitting, so make sure you wear some warm layers if it’s chilly.
The service was amazing. Every person we interacted with was so friendly and helpful, and they got my whole table’s orders right, which can be hard to do when dealing with a big group of 10!
The food and drinks were equally as amazing. I loved the “St. Pete’s,” a gin based cocktail with basil and St. Germain, as well as the “Diablo Margarita,” which, as you may have guessed, is a spicy margarita.
For food, there are lots of options for both carnivores and vegans alike. To start, I absolutely loved the burrata with pesto and tomatoes, and the brussels sprouts. The truffle fries were also great. For my main, I had the vegetarian lentil burger, which comes on an english muffin with cheddar cheese and a side of sweet potato fries — all so good. My friends had the beef burger and loved that too.
